Bricklayer — Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Carroll County, Illinois. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day to day you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
