Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Gibson County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 6+ years on the tools preferred.
