Flatlock machine operator wanted in Macomb County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Macomb County, Michigan. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Six days a week, one day off.
