Rebar worker wanted in Steuben County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Steuben County, Indiana. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules On a typical shift you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
