We are recruiting: lathe operator (Tennessee)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Lewis County, Tennessee. You will work in a CNC machine shop. Day to day you will change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; set up and start the machine as per the job card; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper. Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
