Now hiring: horizontal milling machine operator (Tennessee)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Hardin County, Tennessee. You will work in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On a typical shift you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
