Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Your main tasks: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Part-time with flexible hours.
