Precision welder — Hamilton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Hamilton County, Texas. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Part-time with flexible hours.
