Trowel-trade bricklayer — Shomgom

Join our team: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Shomgom, Gombe State. The job is on a busy housing site. The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
