Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Johnson County, Missouri. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On the job you will handle: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
