Fabricator-welder — Randolph County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Randolph County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
