Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Miner County, South Dakota. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection On a typical shift you will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish.
