Great opportunity: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Sampson County, North Carolina. You will be based at a powder coating unit. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms Day-to-day duties: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well Full-time, day shift.
