Elevator technician — Lincoln County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Lincoln County, Wyoming. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On a typical shift you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate We offer $31 per hour plus benefits.
