Groundworker — Harrison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundworker in Harrison County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate Requirements: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
