Immediate opening: tree and shrub pruner (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Marquette County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage The role involves: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
