TIG welder — Brevard County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Brevard County, Florida. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage You will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
