Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Culberson County, Texas. On a typical shift you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
