Structural MIG welder wanted in Leon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Leon County, Texas. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
