Toolroom milling operator — Sevier County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Sevier County, Tennessee. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Day to day you will hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 4+ years on the tools preferred.
