Now hiring: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Lowndes County, Mississippi. Your main tasks: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing 5+ years on the tools preferred.
