You should have: • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts • Confident using diagnostic scan tools Day-to-day duties: • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair • Replace brake pads, discs and callipers 1+ years on the tools preferred.
