Immediate opening: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Blount County, Tennessee. The job is on a road construction project. Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Day-to-day duties: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
