Requirements: • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter • Normal colour vision for cable identification Day-to-day duties: • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter 6+ years on the tools preferred.
