Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction labourer in Benton County, Mississippi. On a typical shift you will mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel. You should have: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Physically fit and comfortable working at height 3+ years on the tools preferred.
