Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Cumberland County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls On a typical shift you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; load and index turning tools in the turret; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers. 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
