Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press machine operator in Lake County, Illinois. You will work in a textile mill. Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges On a typical shift you will carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
