Excavator operator — Victoria County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Victoria County, Texas. The job is in an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
