On a typical shift you will bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses. Requirements: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
