Foundry operative wanted in Hamilton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Hamilton County, Illinois. Day to day you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 6+ years on the tools preferred.
