QC technician — Bridgend county borough

Now hiring: we are hiring a QC technician in Bridgend county borough, Wales. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Rotating shifts.
