Now hiring: we are hiring a panel beater in Comanche County, Texas. You will work in a smash repair workshop. Ideal candidate: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines The role involves: • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer 2+ years on the tools preferred.
