Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
