Immediate opening: industrial sewing operator (Bayelsa State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Brass, Bayelsa State. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance On a typical shift you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers.
