Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble mason in Madison County, Virginia. Day to day you will cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; work from cutting lists and installation drawings. Requirements: • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
