Gantry crane operator — Genesee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Genesee County, Michigan. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. On the job you will handle: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
