Sheet metal welder — Johnson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Johnson County, Arkansas. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
