Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Gibson County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
