Steel fixer — Ahiazu-Mbaise

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Ahiazu-Mbaise, Imo State. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. You will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 4+ years on the tools preferred.
