Laundry presser — Jefferson County

Join our team: we are hiring a laundry presser in Jefferson County, Missouri. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Your main tasks: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
