Argon welder — Rich County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Rich County, Utah. The job is on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 4+ years on the tools preferred.
