Framing carpenter — Floyd County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Floyd County, Iowa. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. On a typical shift you will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
