Formwork erector — Knox County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork erector in Knox County, Illinois. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking On a typical shift you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
