Foundry operative wanted in Schuylkill County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills Rotating shifts.
