Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Rogers County, Oklahoma. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day On a typical shift you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings.
