Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Las Animas County, Colorado. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T On the job you will handle: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
