Finish carpenter — Alger County

Join our team: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Alger County, Michigan. The role involves: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Meals and transport allowance provided.
