Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Forrest County, Mississippi. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works On a typical shift you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
