Press shop operator — Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Jefferson County, Indiana. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards You will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
