Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator in White County, Indiana. You will be based in a textile mill. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Day to day you will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges.
